Red Alentejo Regional Wine
I consider this red wine the most special I have produced. From the exceptional harvest of 2018 I selected just 5 barrels that stand out for their huge complexity and aging capacity. The grapes came from the exceptional vineyards of Serra de São Mamede, were vinified in ´lagares´ and aged in French oak barrels for 3 years until bottling in December of 2021.
The nose impresses from the first moment with its intensity and peculiarity as a result of the combination between the aroma of Serra de São Mamede vineyards with Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet which only in exceptional years like 2018 proves to be aromatic and subtle. In the mouth it has an unusual harmony, with soft and elegant tannins, which gives it a unique complexity that is transmitted in the mouth where it is broad, deep and mineral.
