Red Alentejo Regional Wine
This wine is the result of my incessant search for very old vines in Serra de São Mamede, 700 meters above sea level. I have been recovering them over the years. It was aged for 24 months in used French oak barrels brought from Burgundy, to preserve the vineyard’s identity.
Very dark red color, almost black. The notes of ripe and intense fruit, although without any excess maturation, with tobacco notes and a mineral background appear accompanied by a vegetable suggestion that adds an unusual complexity and tension. Lively and powerful, austere but delicate it surprises with its lively but serene tannins, finishing fresh and vigorous.
